What Camp Hujjah asks of everyone who attends, what you sign when you arrive, and how to raise a concern.
Dress code and etiquette
Proper Islamic dress code and etiquette are observed throughout the camp, by everyone, across the whole three days.
Sisters: hair covered at all times, and clothing loose.
Brothers: modestly covered, with no sleeveless shirts and no shorts.
Saturday and Sunday include physical activities, so bring clothing that meets this and that you can still move in comfortably.
Waiver and liability
Liability waivers are signed in person at the campsite when you arrive, not during registration and not on this site. Families with children under 18 should expect to sign for each child.
There is nothing to download, print, or bring with you. Allow a few extra minutes at check-in on Friday.
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about conduct or safety, email camphujjah@gmail.com and you will be put in touch with someone to talk to.
That is the way to raise something before the camp or after it. Say as much or as little as you want to in the first message.
During the camp itself, speak to any of the organizers, or to the campsite director if he is on site. The organizers will introduce themselves on the first day, so you will know who to look for.
